Item description from the seller
The Little Cannon on the Field
Guangyu Carbon Small Black Racket, this model features an archery frame design, lightweight and agile design with 4U characteristics for offense and 6U characteristics for both offense and defense with high elasticity in the shaft, allowing you to use flexibility to overcome strength for continuous defense and easily hit high and long shots.
Detailed differences between the performance of the two different rackets:
6U shot: Weight 72-75 grams, poundage 22-30 pounds, balance point 295mm
Ultra-light 72g feel, smooth control, strong swing flexibility, recommended for women
4U shot: Weight 82-85 grams, Poundage 22-30 pounds, Balance point 295mm
Offensive and Defensive, Tends to Be Offensive, Combines Performance and Control, Recommended for Boys
1. Low weight means the weight is below 20
Advantages: No matter what line you use, the elasticity is very good
Disadvantage: The string tension is very loose, making it difficult to control the ball's direction. As long as it's not hitting the sweet spot of the badminton racket, the ball's flight path will have some deviation from the swing, making it impossible to precisely control where the ball lands. Even with the same force and hitting the same ball, the ball's landing will not be the same.
2. Low to medium weight, meaning the weight is between 20-23
Advantages: It feels very elastic when swinging and can control the ball well
Disadvantage: There is a feeling of stagnation.Suitable for amateurs because it has a retention feel that is not suitable for offensive players.
3. Medium weight means the weight is between 23-25
Advantages: At this weight, both the string and the racket itself can exhibit their unique performance. Most amateur players use this weight, and it starts to feel elastic when swinging the ball.
4. Medium to high weight, meaning the weight is between 25-27
Advantages: The ball's retention on the racket surface is significantly reduced, with good ball control and precise hitting.
Disadvantage: At this weight level, you can feel the hardness of the racket surface, the elasticity of the strings decreases, and the swing lacks power.
5. High poundage means the weight is over 28
Advantages: Excellent ball control, very precise hitting, as if the ball follows the trajectory you imagined—this is the realm of badminton playing. This requires strength, explosive power, wrist strength, waist strength, and body coordination. Not everyone can hit high-pound shots; as long as they can hit high-pound shots, it at least shows they know how to play, and experts make up the majority.
In summary, if you are a beginner, when choosing the weight of a badminton racket, you can gradually start from low weight, then to medium weight, and finally to high weight. Don't go straight to high weight as a beginner; wrists can easily get injured when using high weight. It is recommended to start with low to medium weight; rackets under 20 pounds make it feel like you have no control over the ball.
